Lithuanian Post suffers EUR 1.3 mln loss in January-September

Lietuvos Pastas (Lithuanian Post) posted 51.467 million euros in consolidated revenue for the three quarters of the year 2015, up 13.8% from 45.367 million euros in the same period last year, informs LETA/BNS.

The group's net losses rose by 5.8% to 1.285 million euros, the state postal operator said in its consolidated statements for January through September.

 

Revenue from mail services jumped by 19.5% to 27.4 million euros and revenue from courier services went up by 5.5% to 4.3 million euros.

 

Revenue from financial services grew by 4.5% to 8.8 million euros and revenue from other services were up by 13.5% to 10.5 million euros.

 

EBITDA for the three quarters dropped by 34.6% year-on-year to 555,000 euros.

 

The group is made up of Lietuvos Pastas and its subsidiaries Baltic Post, LP Mokejimu Sprendimai (LP Payment Solutions) and Lietuvos Pasto Finansines Paslaugos (Lithuanian Post Financial Services).
