Klaipedos Nafta in September reloaded 393,000 tons of petroleum products

BC, Vilnius, 07.10.2015.Print version
During September 2015, the Lithuanian company Klaipedos Nafta reloaded 393,000 tons of petroleum products into its storage tanks of Klaipeda oil terminal and Subacius fuel base (SFB), i.e. down by 6.2% compared with September 2014, when 419,000 tons were reloaded, the company said in a statement, cites LETA/ELTA.

In total, during the first nine months of 2015, the company reloaded 4.683 million tons of petroleum products into its storage tanks, or by 20.3% more compared with the same period of 2014 when 3.893 million tons were reloaded. The main reason for the transshipment volume growth in 2015 is the larger volume of petroleum products delivered from the company Orlen Lietuva refinery and attracted new customers that caused the larger cargos from Belarus refineries.

In September, in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal of Klaipedos Nafta, 320,000 MWh (total during the nine months of 2015 – 3.680 million MWh) of the natural gas were re-regasified and supplied to the natural gas transmission system (this activity started to be carried out on 27 November, 2014).

The preliminary sales revenues of the company's Oil terminal and Subacius fuel base for September comprise EUR 2.9 million, which is by 20.8% more compared with September 2014 (EUR 2.4 million).

The preliminary sales revenues of the Klaipedos Nafta's LNG Terminal for September comprise EUR 5.4 million, or equal to the one twelfth of the sum of necessary LNG Terminal operation costs and return on investments into LNG Terminal infrastructure for the year 2015, approved by the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices.

The preliminary sales revenues for the first nine months 2015 of Klaipedos Nafta oil terminal and SFB comprise EUR 30.4 million and are by 25.6% greater compared with the same period of 2014 (EUR 24.2 million).
