Tallink pays nearly a half of its 2014 profit as dividends

Estonia's biggest passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp shareholders decided at their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday to pay 13.4 million euros as dividends, the company informed the Tallinn Stock Exchange, cites LETA.

The net profit of the company in the financial year of 2014 was 27,261,000 euros.

 

The shareholders decided to allocate 1,363,000 euros from the net profit to the mandatory legal reserve. The shareholders decided to pay dividends to the shareholders 0.02 euros per share, in the total amount of 13,398,000 euros. 12,500,000 euros will be transferred to the retained earnings.

 

The list of the shareholders entitled to dividends shall be fixed as at 26th June 2015, 11:59 PM. Dividends shall be paid to the shareholders by transfer to the bank account of the shareholders on 8th July 2015.
