Tallink pays nearly a half of its 2014 profits to dividends

Estonia's biggest passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp plans to pay dividends of 0.02 euros per share to its shareholders, in the total amount of 13,398,000 euros, informs LETA.

Tallink's net profit of the financial year of 2014 was 27,261,000 euros, thus the company pays around a half of it for dividends, the AS Tallink Grupp notice calling annual general meeting states.

 

The list of the shareholders entitled to dividends shall be fixed as at 26th June 2015, 11:59 PM. Dividends shall be paid to the shareholders by transfer to the bank account of the shareholders on 8th July 2015.

 

Tallink proposes to the shareholders to allocate 1,363,000 euros from the net profit to the mandatory legal reserve and 12,500,000 euros to be transferred to the retained earnings.

 

The annual general meeting of shareholders was convened for 9th June 2015.
