New car sales in Estonia fell by 0.9% in April

Print versionThe Estonian Car Sales and Servicing Companies Union AMTEL data indicates that 1,984 new cars were sold in Estonia in April 2015, which is by 0.9% less than at the same time last year, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

In the first four months of the year, 6,777 new cars have been delivered to clients, by 0.3% more than at the same time last year.
New cars formed 49% of all cars imported in April.
The most popular car brand was in April this year Toyota with 285 cars sold, followed by Skoda with 184 cars and Volkswagen with 181 cars.
In addition to sales in Estonia, 74 cars were exported.
406 new utility vehicles were sold in April, 35% more than last year. In four months, the year-on-year growth was 21.6%.
