The charging station is compatible with the European standard ("Combo2") and Japanese standard ("CHAdeMO") connectors. The said station is available 24 hours a day.

In order to implement the project, the Road Traffic Safety Directorate applied for the Climate change financial instrument's (CCFI) project "Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Transport Industry". As a result, the directorate received funding in the amount EUR 17,163.78 in order to cover 50 percent of the project's costs and to implement an electric mobile charging station on Bauskas Street. The said station was installed and will be maintained by MMX Energy.

The Road Traffic Safety Directorate explained that the aim is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the city.
