Rigas satiksme passenger turnover up 0.3% in 2014

Print versionMunicipal public transportation company Rigas satiksme carried 150,526,484 passengers in 2014, which is 0.3% more than in 2013, the company informed LETA.

68,831,608 passengers were carried by bus, 34,689,808 – by tram.
The most popular route was tram #6 – 9,818,275 passengers, while the least popular route was trolley-bus #20 – 50,099 passengers.
In total, Rigas satiksme public transport covered 45,661,947 kilometers last year.
In 2013, the company carried a total of 150,104,863 passengers, in 2012 – 141,371,668 passengers.
