Estonian business leaders support Rail Baltica and Tallinn-Tartu speedway

Print versionEstonian business leaders support among major infrastructure projects almost equally Rail Baltica and expanding the Tallinn-Tartu highway into a four-lane speedway, a study by KPMG "The pulse of the economy" indicated, LETA/Delfi reports.

39% of those surveyed support building Rail Baltica and expanding the Tallinn-Tartu highway to a four-lane speedway is preferred by 38%.
The support percentage has remained virtually unchanged compared to 2012, when the railway project was supported by 38% of respondents, and highway project by 36%.
Helsinki-Tallinn tunnel construction is favoured by 17% (in 2012 11%) of the respondents and improving the Tallinn-St Petersburg railway connection by 5%.
