Latvia is in eighth place on the list, where visitors can ''visit an 'open farm' to learn how food is produced, try some of the eco-friendly farming techniques, and buy fresh and healthy foods which are not available from the city supermarkets. Switzerland is in first place on the list of most environmentally pure countries, followed by Norway, Sweden, Finland and Costa Rica in fifth, informs LETA.

Eco-tourism travelers are also encouraged by ''Travelio.net'' to visit Austria, New Zealand, Colombia and France, which are respectively 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th on the list.
