Estonian tourist killed in bus accident in Turkey

Print versionEstonian Foreign Ministry announced that a tourism bus with Estonian and Latvia tourists was in an accident Sunday afternoon in the Antalya region in Turkey in which one Estonian woman was killed, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

According to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the accident happened near the city of Manavgat, Turkey, Antalya region with a Wow tourism group bus. A 52-year-old citizen of Estonia was killed; her family has been informed, the Foreign Ministry said.
There were 24 people on the bus, most of them from Estonia.
Delfi Maaleht said that 22 of the people in the bus were Estonians and 2 Latvians. It said that three passengers and the tour guide were more seriously injured, most other people received lighter injuries.
The trip was organized by the travel agencies Wow and Tom Travel.
