BC, Riga, 10.03.2015.Print version
In the first two months of 2015, the Freeport of Riga serviced 61,352 passengers, which is 40.6% less than in the corresponding period in 2014, reports LETA, according to information published by the port.

In the first two months in 2014, the Freeport of Riga serviced 103,232 passengers.

The number of passengers on the Latvia-Sweden route of the Estonia-based ferry company Tallink Grupp decreased by 41% in February. This is because the route is now operated by just one ferry.

So far this year, no cruise ship passengers were serviced at the Freeport of Riga, as compared with 3,042 cruise ship passengers in the first two months in 2014.
