Losses caused by flooding in Ogre are estimated to be EUR 882,810, the Ogre City Council spokeswoman Baiba Trumekalne informed LETA.

The flood has caused damage to many infrastructure objects – streets, roads, canals, ditches, a dam; about 120 private properties are inundated, 50 of which are houses.

The amount of losses caused to the municipality's infrastructure objects have reached EUR 632,810, losses caused to single family houses – about EUR 250,000.
