Print versionThe under-fire construction company Re&Re has won the Justice Ministry's tender for the construction of the new block of Olaine prison for EUR 4.29 million, according to information from the Procurement Monitoring Bureau, cites LETA.

Re&Re won the tender after offering the lowest price for the construction of the new prison block – EUR 4.289 million. The construction of the new prison block is financed by Norway.
As reported, Re&Re is one of the construction companies accused in the Riga Castle fire criminal process, as well as involved in hiring subcontractors who constructed the collapsed Maxima super market building.
