Reconstruction of Occupation Museum in Riga to be delayed six months
BC, Riga, 22.04.2014.Print version
The Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, a major tourist attraction in Old Town Riga, is facing a delay in its major reconstruction of six months due to "breach of contract and irresponsible conduct on the part of Buvprojektu vadiba Ltd., as the State Real Estate (SRE) company reports, cites LETA.
This because of Buvprojektu vadiba's failure to hand in authorized technical blueprints to SRE by the (already extended) deadline of March 20.
As a result, SRE has decided to back off from the mutual contract.
At this time, the museum has moved to a new, temporary location at Raina Boulevard 7.
