BC, Riga, 25.06.2018.Print version
Tax inspectors of the State Revenue Service in Latvia found violations of electronic working hours registration at most construction sites they inspected in the first quarter of 2018, the Revenue Service informed LETA.

The Revenue Service’s inspectors checked the electronic working hours registration system in ten thematic inspections in the first three months of 2018.

At two of the inspected construction sites the system had not been installed, at two other construction sites the system could not produce any data and at two other sites general contractors had failed to register two employees. At five of the inspected construction sites 43 employees of subcontractors were not registered in the system.

As of October 1, 2017, using the electronic working hours registration system is mandatory in all construction projects costing EUR 1 million or more.
