Apartment prices in standard design Soviet era houses in Riga up 0.4% in October

In October 2017, apartment prices in standard design Soviet era houses in Riga's residential suburbs rose 0.4% from September 2017, writes LETA, according to the price indicator drawn up by the Latvia Real Estate Dealers Association (LANIDA).

In the secondary property market, apartment prices went up 0.1% over the month in the city center and increased by 0.2% in Riga Region.


Apartment prices in new residential projects went up 0.1% in downtown Riga and climbed 0.3% in the residental neighborhoods. In Riga Region, the prices of new apartments rose 0.2% and in Jurmala new apartments dropped in price by 0.3%.

 

The market price indicator for October 2017 was based on monitoring results provided by Ober-Haus, Latio and Balsts real estate companies.

 

According to the information provided by the real estate companies, in October 2017, the average apartment price in new projects was EUR 2,720 per square meter in the city center, EUR 1,341 per square meter in Riga’s residential neighborhoods, EUR 862 per square meter in Riga Region and EUR 2,793 per square meter in Jurmala.

 

In October, the average price in the secondary apartment market was EUR 1,455 per square meter in the city center, EUR 762 per square meter in Riga’s residential neighborhoods, and EUR 512 in Riga Region.

 

The average price of private houses was EUR 1,168 per square meter in Riga’s residential neighborhoods, EUR 899 per square meter in Riga Region and EUR 1,350 in Jurmala.
