SEB Banka has granted a EUR 2 million loan to Salmo Invest, a company of the fishing lure group Salmo, for the planned renovation and refurbishing its office building in Riga, the bank’s spokesman Martins Panke told LETA.

Radiotehnika.

The SEB spokesman said that the new Salmo office will be situated at 7 Skandu Street in Riga in a renovated building of the former Radiotehnika plant. After the renovation, Salmo will occupy around 60% of the building’s office space while the remaining premises will be let out to other businesses.

Salmo is investing in the former industrial building’s renovation to provide premises for its online store which is due to open in the first half of 2018. This project exceeds the company’s own needs which is why it offers other businesses to move into Salmo offices, said Salmo Invest CEO Raimonds Vaisla.

Salmo develops Salmo and Lucky John fishing lure, as well as Norfin clothing and tourism equipment. The company exports these goods to other Baltic states, Russia, other CIS countries, Europe and other countries of the world. The goods of the Salmo brand are developed in Latvia and manufactured in Asian countries.
