Radisson Red hotel expected in Vilnius in 2020

Print versionRadisson Red hotel operated by the international company Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group should be opened in the Lithuanian capital in 2020 to become the first hotel of the brand in the Baltic states and one of the first ones in Europe, reports LETA/BNS.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and Investmiros Valdymas, a company of the investment group Lords LB Asset Management, signed a management deal for the hotel on Wednesday. The 40 mln euro hotel featuring 200 rooms should be opened in a new commercial complex on Konstitucijos Avenue in central Vilnius.
"Under the signed deal, the hotel will be operated by Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. It will be a hotel of the higher class segment," Marius Zemaitis, fund manager for Lords LB Asset Management, told a news conference.
The new hotel will not be the only Radisson trademark hotel on Konstitucijos Avenue. A four-star and 20-story Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva operated by Radisson currently operates next to the territory as part of Norway's Linstow.
