Merko signs preliminary agreement on construction of hotel in Vilnius

Print versionUAB Merko bustas, a company of the listed Estonian construction group AS Merko Ehitus, has entered into a preliminary sales and purchase agreement with UAB Hekon, subsidiary of Orbis S.A., to sell upon completion the Ibis hotel building and parking premises to be built on the land plot owned by UAB Merko bustas in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, writes LETA/BNS.

UAB Merko bustas will perform through UAB Merko statyba the design and
construction works of a hotel at the land plot located at Ceikiniu Street 3,
Vilnius. The Ibis hotel with 164 guest rooms, a restaurant, a bar and two
meeting rooms will be compliant to Accor standards.
The total sales price for the hotel
building and land nust not exceed 8.5 mln euros plus value added tax.
The final sale and purchase
agreement is to be executed after fulfillment of all the conditions laid down
in the preliminary agreement, by June 30, 2018.
