Lipinska suspects that documents are being hastily drawn up now to justify the authorities' decision.
Riga Circus' cooperation partners around the world have been notified about the circus closure, added Lipinska.
As reported, the Culture Ministry and State Construction Control Bureau announced yesterday that the Riga Circus was not safe to the public and had to be shut down, with immediate effect. The decision was taken following the bureau's latest inspection of the circus building.
