Tbilisi Park opened in Vilnius

Tbilisi Square has been opened in Vilnius on November 4th, Vilnius Municipality reported LETA/BNS.

The opening of the square in the area of Zverynas was attended by Georgian and Lithuanian Prime Ministers Irakli Garibashvili and Algirdas Butkevicius, the Georgian justice minister and Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Simasius.
"As a Georgian, I am proud to be here and I am happy to see so many happy and friendly faces. We appreciate our friendship with Lithuania," the Georgian prime minister said.
"It’s an extraordinary and important event for all of us. I do believe that Tbilisi Square will become a new place of attraction for Vilnius residents. Sculptures of Lithuanian and Georgian sculptures symbolizing Tbilisi should appear here soon," Simasius said.
