However, this is not the first time that centre for promotion of cultural and business cooperation between Moscow and Vilnius is planning to open. Construction of the Moscow House in Vilnius had stalled for several years but now it is proceeding rapidly.
Before the meeting with the Russian ambassador, Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Simasius did not wish to give his opinion about the friendship fostered by his predecessors. Nevertheless, some officials from Vilnius City Municipality have cautioned about the mysterious Russian building after the geopolitical situation shifted.
