The construction input prices in May increased by 1% in Lithuania

Print versionStatistics Lithuania informs that construction input prices in May 2015, against April, increased by 1%. The change was mainly influenced by a 3.3% increase in wages and salaries, informs LETA/ELTA.

Over the month, prices for building materials and products increased by just 0.02%.
The largest increase in prices over the month was observed for pipes – 0.6%, wood products – 0.2%, while decrease – for insulation materials – 0.7%, concrete and mortar – 0.5%.
Hourly costs of the operation of construction machines and mechanisms increased by 0.1%.
