Real estate company Colliers International has sold a historic building in Riga which was owned by the bankrupt bank Snoras, reports LETA/ELTA.

The multifunctional building which can be used as an office, a hotel or a residential building is located in the prestigious Dome Square. The new owners have not yet revealed their plans regarding the purchase.

It was a second property owned by bank Snoras in Riga. The first one located in Jana Dalina Street was sold for more than EUR 10 million (LTL 36 million) in early August 2014.

This is a continuation of successful transactions of properties owned by the bank. Two buildings in Lithuania's capital Vilnius, three luxurious apartments in Vilnius' Old Town and a part of the art collection were sold in the summer.
