Stockmann looks to lay off 380 staff at Seppala

Print versionStockmann has announced plans to cut some 380 jobs at its Seppala retail chain, Yle/LETA reports.

It is said that reduction of workforce would reduce the costs.
The company says that a previous savings drive at Seppala was unsuccessful, with the brand losing some EUR 25 million in 2014.
Seppala has 130 stores in Finland, 36 in the Baltic countries, and 16 in Russia.
The Russian outlets are scheduled to close in the next year.
