Lithuanian Cgates buys 2 companies

Print versionThe Lithuanian cable operator Cgates has acquired two companies – UAB Ukmerges TV and UAB Rakarin for an undisclosed fee, broadbandtvnews.com said.

Cgates CEO Paulius Dambrauskas says that the transactions were competed in late June. They have increased the operator's subscriber total by 4 percent to 195,000.
Cgates plans more acquisitions this autumn, writes LETA/ELTA.
Cgates was found in 2010 by Sweden's Tele2 as a result of the merger of four local cable TV operators.
