At the event, which will start at 10 a.m. and continue till 4 p.m., Italian and Latvian food producers will provide an opportunity to taste-test and purchase antipasto like bruschetta, prosciutto, focaccio, a wide variety of pane (bread), olives and cheese, cantucci cookies, gelato, original "espresso", and much more.

Various aspects of Italian arts will be reflected in live entertainment for both young and old.

From 12 p.m. visitors will be welcome to take part in tasting of wines from Marche Region, to which this year's market is dedicated. Also, there will be cooking lesson where a chef from Marche will show how to make traditional "Pizza di formaggio".

Children will have opportunity to participate in various creative workshops dedicated to Italy.

The "Italian Market" is free of charge.
