Riga Court overturns decision ordering NP Foods assets frozen

Print versionThe Riga Regional Court overturned an earlier court decision ordering the authorities to freeze bank accounts of 25 companies involved in a legal dispute between NP Business Center and the Nordic Partners Limited group, which also includes NP Foods group companies, such as the joint-stock confectionery Laima.

Bank accounts of only three entities involved in the dispute remain frozen, as the Riga Regional Court's press secretary Inta Saboha told LETA.
Previously the Riga Regional Court upheld the decision on freezing the bank accounts of NP Foods group companies involved in the dispute between NP Business Center and Nordic Partners Limited.
The case was opened following a EUR 5.3 million claim filed Menard Port LLC against Nordic Partners Limited over losses that it had allegedly suffered as a result of Nordic Partners Limited actions.
