Tobacco distributor British American Tobacco Latvia turnover reduced by 29% in 2013, reports LETA/Nozare.lv, according to information provided by Firmas.lv.

In 2013, the company's turnover was EUR 31.02 million, while in 2012 – EUR 43.79 million. In 2013, British American Tobacco Latvia suffered losses in the amount of EUR 180,912, as compared to 2012, when the company concluded the year with a profit.

 

The company's management report indicates that in 2013, British American Tobacco Latvia reorganized its activities and changed its cigarette distribution organization in Latvia. The company's profitableness, competitive capacity and cigarette sales volumes facilitated this process.

 

This year, the company plans to continue using its new operation model, establishing cooperation with its trade partners, improving its service portfolio and the employees' professional growth.

 

British American Tobacco Latvia plans to profit this year in order to cover last year's losses.

 

Previously, the company amassed losses in the amount of LVL 12.87.
