BC, Riga, 17.06.2014.Print version
The defunct metallurgical giant Liepajas metalurgs has received ten non-binding offers from its potential investors, as the company's insolvency administrator, Haralds Velmers, informed the business portal Nozare.lv, cites LETA.

"We hope to make a decision in coming weeks in order to continue discussion and later receive binding offers," Velmers explained.

Non-binding offers have been received from investors from Western-Europe and Eastern-Europe. The majority of offers come from strategic investors, but several are believed to be finance investors.

As reported, June 13 was the final date when Liepajas metalurgs’ potential investors could submit their offers.

Before that, Velmers had addressed about 160 potential investors and signed agreements with 28 prospective investors.
