BC, Vilnius, 27.05.2014.Print version
It has been proposed that the law would provide for a possibility for natural and legal persons and farmers to be the first to purchase up to 80 cubic meters of wood in the rough, produced in the areas of state-owned forests, informs LETA/ELTA.

The proposal was registered by MP Vytautas Gapsys.

According to the proposed draft amendment, when selling up to 80 cubic meters of wood in the rough produced in the areas of state-owned forests, the first ones to acquire it under the procedure established by the Government should be natural and legal persons engaged in manufacture of wood products, or farmers, who buy wood in the rough for the requirements of their farms.

If the Seimas approved of Gapsys's proposal, legal and natural persons, farmers would be allowed to be the first to purchase up to 80 cubic meters of wood in the raw produced in the areas of the state-owned forests only once a year.
