Advertising market experts forecasts growth in the budget of both total advertising market and separate media channels in Lithuania in 2014. The largest growth is foreseen for internet, outdoor and cinema advertising, informs LETA/ELTA.

Prices for TV, internet and cinema advertising are predicted to increase, a survey conducted by social and media research company TNS LT in February reveals.

According to Gytis Juodpusis, Managing Director at TNS LT, the presidential and European Parliament elections to take place this year as well as the introduction of the euro should boost the Lithuanian advertising market.

According to experts, this year advertising market should increase by 7%. "The largest increase is forecasted for internet, outdoor and cinema advertising, respectively 13, 6 and 6%," said Juodpusis.

According to the forecast of experts, TV advertising should increase by 4.5%, radio advertising – by 2.5%, meanwhile, there will be no changes in press advertising, as decline in circulation of dailies will determine decrease in press advertising.

Experts forecast that in 2014 prices for TV and internet advertising will increase by 4% and prices for cinema advertising will rise by 2%. Changes in prices for radio, press, and indoor advertising are not expected.
