If Lithuanian export to Russia was disturbed, LTL 200 million (EUR 58 million) would be allocated to the promotion of foreign trade, says Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius, cites LETA/ELTA.

"Yesterday we held meetings with all the ministers and afterwards individually with the minister of finance, the minister of economy and we discussed that they should conduct an analysis according to their area and provide proposals to help business. And I can tell today that we have planned LTL 200 million for the promotion of export, if certain issues arose, and this sum will be approved next week," said Butkevicius in an interview with radio Ziniu Radijas.

The prime minister assured that the situation of export and import to Ukraine was monitored.

In 2013, Lithuania's export to Russia accounted for 19.8% of total export, while Lithuania's import from Russia made 29.22% of total import.
