Beverages producer A. Le Coq posted the biggest ever sales result in Estonia in 2013 – it sold altogether over 115 million litres of beverages, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The biggest growth was posted by water while the exports of the company's own products grew by 12%.

A. Le Coq's manager Tarmo Noop pointed out two factors for the good sales result – warm summer and bigger sales on board ships and in ports. "The long and beautiful summer raised our water category sales by 28%," said Noop.

Noop said that while the Estonian beer market fell last year by 5%, A. Le Coq's beer segment grew by 4% thanks to sales on board ships and in ports.

The out of the group export of A. Le Coq grew by 12% partly thanks to contracts concluded with Armenia and Hungary last year.
