Medicine export field to continue developing between Latvia and Kazakhstan

Print versionDuring the Latvian delegation's visit to Kazakhstan, an agreement has been signed on the further development of medicine export, as Health Minister Ingrida Circene reported LETA via her press secretary.

Circene noted that there have been several serious cooperation proposals from the Kazakhs. She had the opportunity to meet in Astana with Health Minister Salidat Kairbekov and other ministry officials, and visit a number of health centers and clinics.
An inter-ministry cooperation agreement is set to be initialed this fall at a conference in Almaty.
Circene underlined that the achievements of medical specialists in Latvia and the level of education are both highly regarded internationally.
