Print versionExcise tax revenue from alcoholic beverages (excluding beer) increased 9% in the first three months of 2013, compared to the respective period in 2012, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Excise tax revenue from alcoholic beverages amounted to LVL 23.24 million in January-March 2013, LVL 1.94 million more than in January-March 2012.
Alcohol excise tax revenue grew due to an increase in sales of legal alcoholic beverages.
Excise tax revenue from beer constituted LVL 2.8 million in the first quarter of 2013, LVL 520,000 more than in the same period in 2012.
