Vladimir Romanov officially leaves Zalgiris basketball club

Print versionSports Director of Kaunas Zalgiris Basketball Club Vitoldas Masalskis has confirmed that businessman Vladimir Romanov officially left the team of the Lithuanian basketball champions as the owner of the club, writes LETA/ELTA.

Masalskis says that Zalgiris from now on is ready to welcome all wising to take over the team and is waiting for potential investors, as delfi.lt reports.
"I can officially announce that all businessmen who wish to come to the club and take it over are welcome. The team is waiting for people who will come and contribute because the current situation is complicated. We have received some threatening messages from agents and are trying to calm down the situation, however, it is increasingly heating up," he said.
Vladimir Romanov was the owner of Ukio bankas.
