A News Corp. insider told REUTERS that the company has hired the U.S. investment company Lehman Brothers to ascertain the value and strategic options for three Eastern European television stations after being approached by multiple suitors.
Media magnate Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. and Lehman Brothers declined to comment.
As reported, News Corp. is the owner of the Latvian television channels LNT and TV5. In Bulgaria, News Corp. owns the television channel "bTv", which is a co-owner of the Serbian television "Fox Televizija".
