Apranga turnover grows by 2.3% in August

Print versionThe retail turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made 40.1 million litas in August 2010, and thus has increased 2.3% in comparison to August 2009, Apranga informs NASDAQ OMX Vilnius.

The retail turnover growth compared with the same month last year, met for the first time after 19 months period, reports LETA/ELTA.
In August 2010 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Estonia increased 14.7%, year-on-year, in Latvia increased 11.1% and in Lithuania decreased 2.8%.
The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made 233.3 million litas in January through August 2010 or 9.8% less than in 2009.
Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
