"McDonald's" to open fast food restaurant at the "Alfa" mall in Riga

On Friday, September 3, "McDonald's" will open a new fast food restaurant at the "Alfa" shopping mall in Riga, as well as holding a press conference to announce its plans for further expansion in Latvia next year.

As the business portal Nozare.lv was notified by "McDonald's" representative in Latvia Premier Restaurants Latvia, this will be the eighth "McDonald's" fast food restaurant in Latvia.

 

At the press conference, "McDonald's" will announce its development plan for next year and intended investments in Latvia and the Baltic States, as well as revealing its plans for expansion into Latvian regions, reports LETA.

 

The press conference will take place at 11 a.m. on September 3 at the company's new restaurant in the "Alfa" shopping mall.

 

A musical performance will also take place before the restaurant opens to the public at 3 p.m.

 

As reported, Premier Restaurants Latvia, the owner and operator of ''McDonalds'' and ''McCafe'' fast food establishments in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Malta, earned LVL 450,766 in profit last year, according to the Register of Enterprises' "Lursoft" database.

 

The company also achieved LVL 9,385,052 in turnover last year.
