Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip visited the paper manufacturing enterprise Horizon Pulp & Paper in Kehra on Tuesday, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.

The head of Government praised the successful operations of the enterprise that employs 500 persons.

After visiting the plant and meeting with the CEO of the enterprise Sonny Ashwani, Ansip expressed his satisfaction that the biggest employer in the municipality of Kehra is on a solid financial position at the moment – the six-month production capacity has been covered with orders and Horizon has been earning a profit for several months in a row.

In near future, Horizon is planning to invest into technological modernisation of its boiling facility so that the high quality of products would make it possible to enter the fast growing segments on the global market while maintaining the competitiveness of prices. At the moment Horizon Pulp & Paper exports its products to 50 countries.

Horizon Pulp & Paper is fully owned by the Singapore-based global enterprise Tolaram Group.
