Utenos Trikotazas sales decreased by 5.7% in Q2

Overall sales reached 30.1 million litas in the first half of 2010, and accordingly decreased 11% in comparison with the same period in 2009.
Consolidated Group sales of the second quarter of 2010 reached 18.2 million litas, the total sales of the first half of 2010 of Utenos Trikotazas reached 35.2 million litas, which accordingly was by 4.8% and 10.7% less than in the same period in 2009.
Positive highlight, according to the company's representatives, is that the company sales in the second quarter of 2010 increased by nine% and Group by six% compared with the first quarter of this year.
Sales are growing for a several quarters in a row, although still remain lower compared to last year. While more significant recovery in clothing consumption is not apparent in Europe or Lithuania we actively work with both existing and new customers and look forward to consistently grow sales in the second half of this year.
