Thus far, there has been no co-operation in the field of agriculture between Estonia and Kosovo. There is also no trade between the two countries in agricultural products.
“Agriculture plays a big role in the economy of Kosovo and hence we have plenty of options for co-operation,” commented the minister of agriculture Helir-Valdor Seeder.
He stated that on one hand, trade exchange is important for Estonia while on the other hand, Estonia has good options for sharing its experiences. “Co-operation on development aid has already been well launched with Turkey and Georgia,” added the Estonian minister.
Seeder and his colleague Idriz Vehapi signed the agreement in the Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday evening.
