Punch Drinks is planning to expand its exports to Scandinavia, develop new products and open a facility which will combine a showroom bar with an innovation laboratory and production facility, the company said.

"Ready-to-drink cocktails are a rapidly growing trend led by the United States where the segment's growth has been among the fastest in its sector. The United States can be viewed as a trend setter for the global alcohol market. The ground-breaking popularity of ready-to-drink cocktails in the United States is currently also spreading in Estonia an Europe more broadly," head and co-founder of the company Kristjan-Walter Kask said in a press release.

Kask added that as the company has shown annual 200-percent sales growth over the past two years, and ready-made cocktails have also piqued consumers' interest in Estonia's neighboring countries, Punch Drinks deems it the right time to expand to the markets of Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

The beverage producer said that in addition to boosting exports, raising capital will enable the company to also focus on product development and diversification of its product range. While ready-to-drink cocktails are sold in glass bottles only at retail stores, Punch Drinks draft cocktails are also available for sale in bars.

Prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, in late March 2020, the company launched a new product category when it started producing Punch Sanitizer, a product for hand and surface disinfection.

Lead investor in the campaign is founder and former CEO of Adcash Thomas Padovani.

The Funderbeam investment platform is meant for capital raising by small and medium-sized companies in the growth phase. With Funderbeam's Marketplace platform, investors can trade in investments on the aftermarket.
