Latvia: John Tully elected as a member of the AmCham Board

John Martin Tully, CEO of Mikrotikls has been elected to the AmCham Board of Directors replacing George Miu, General Manager of Radisson Blu Elizabete and Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotels. Tully assumes the position immediately and will serve the remaining portion of Miu’s term until 2022.

The Nominating Committee of AmCham elected John Tully as a member of the Board of Directors on June 18. He will replace George Miu, who recently left his position to pursue other career opportunities. The board expressed its sincere appreciation to George Miu for his dedicated efforts, leadership and commitment over the two years of his service.

 

John Tully has been working in IT in Latvia since the mid-1990s. He was Co-founder of Latnet Serviss, one of the first Internet service providers and now serves as Chairman of the Board of Mikrotikls SIA, a network equipment manufacturer.


"I look forward to promoting cooperation between the genomics researchers, bio-informaticians, and U.S.-driven technologies to advance health care and precision medicine in Latvia, especially for children's cancer treatment. Latvia's education system and history of producing great talents in mathematics and genetics research show promise for the future," said Tully.
