Exports of oil products down 7.3% from Latvia in four months

The amount of oil products exported from Latvia under the deferred excise tax payment regime in the first four months of this year was by 9,157 tons or 7.3 percent smaller than the amount exported during the same period a year ago, according to the information from the Excise Goods Administration of the Latvian State Revenue Service (VID) writes LETA.

During the four-month period, 116,167 tons of oil products (fuel) were dispatched from excise storehouses in Latvia, applying the deferred excise tax payment. Of that amount 113,047 tons of oil products were delivered to other European Union member states.


Diesel fuel exports declined by 21,109 tons or 48.7% y-o-y to 22,246 tons in January-April 2019.

At the same time, exports of liquefied natural gas rose 34.8% to 43,204 tons.


Exports of bio-diesel dropped 6.6% y-o-y to 43,204 tons.


Bio-gasoline exports were down 54.1% to 3,966 tons.
