TV3 tops list of Latvia's most-watched TV channels overall in November

TV3 commercial television channel was the most-watched TV channel in Latvia in November this year as it took 11.2 percent of the combined linear and non-linear viewing time, according to a monthly survey by Kantar TNS market and media research company writes LETA.

LTV1 public television was the second most-watched TV channel in November with 9.8% of total viewing time, and commercial LNT was in the third place with 7.8%.


Further down the list were Russian-language PBK channel with 7.6%, the Russian-language channel NTV Mir Baltic with 6.6%, RTR Planeta Baltija with 6%, Dom Kino with 4.2%, REN TV Baltic with 3%, TV6 with 2.2%, LTV7 with 1.9%, 3+ with 1.8 %, RigaTV 24 with 1.7%, TNT with 1.5%, STV with 0.9 , 360TV with 0.7%, Kanals 2 and Nickelodeon with 0.6% each, CTC Baltija and Discovery Channel with 0.5% of total viewing time in November.


Fox, Kidzone TV, National Geographic Channel, Pjatnica International, Re:TV each received 0.4%, Fox Life and TNT4 International received 0.3% each, Sony Channel and Best4Sport TV got 0.1% each. All other channels took 27.8% of the total viewing time.


Kantar TNS representative Oskars Rumpeters said that in November on average 67.8 % of Latvian residents watched TV daily either in real time.
