Turnover of Latvian drug wholesalers down 2% in May

In May 2018, Latvia's drug wholesalers saw their aggregate turnover drop 2% year-on-year to EUR 33.79 mln, according to the data of the State Agency of Medicines.

April 2018, drug sales rose 2% in May.
In May
2018, the Latvian drug wholesalers sold 3.67 mln packages of medicines.
According
to the agency’s data, 3.29 mln packages of medicines were sold to general drug
stores for EUR 29.54 mln in May.
The Latvian
drug wholesalers also exported EUR 15.37 mln worth of 522 various Latvian-registered
medicines, up 3% against April 2018.
