Baltic Telekom to get EUR 200,000 credit facility from Cyprus-based investment firm

Baltic Telekom holding company will get a EUR 200,000 credit facility from Cyprus-based investment firm Rimson Holdings Limited, Baltic Telekom said in a statement to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange, cites LETA.

According to the statement, on August 7 this year Rimson Holdings Limited entered into a strategic partnership with Baltic Telekom to create a listed private equity vehicle to unlock investment potential and provide access to successful profitable companies operating in Russia and the CIS.

 

"Rimson Holdings Limited will provide an initial credit facility of EUR 200,000 to Baltic Telekom which will in turn acquire minority stakes in such companies, and will work with an international investor base to generate profit for all Baltic Telekom shareholders," the statement says.

 

Baltic Telekom was founded in April 2013, and its largest shareholder is Cyprus-registered company MCM Maximus Capital Management Limited with 98.81%, according to the stock exchange information.

 

Baltic Telekom shares have been listed on the Baltic alternative stock market First North since August 21, 2013.
