FY earnings of Fazer Eesti drop 27.6 % to EUR 493,000

Print versionThe net profit of the bakery products maker Fazer Eesti AS declined 27.6% to 493,000 euros year over year in 2016 while revenue remained stable at 16.2 mln euros, reports LETA/BNS.

The company employed on the average 65 people and labor
costs totaled 1.4 mln euros, 26.4 % less than in 2015. No remuneration of
member of the management board was paid in 2016 and 2015, it appears from the
annual report.
During 2016, Fazer
Eesti introduced 15 new products in the higher value bakery products
segment and 12 products in the cakes and healthy breakfasts segment.
Of sales in 2016, bakery products accounted for 58 %,
confectionery products for 40 % and other revenue for 2%.
Sales in Estonia accounted for 98% and exports for 2%.
Fazer was the third biggest player on the Estonian market
and its market share declined 0.3 percentage points year over year to 9%.
